Goodbye 2012!!!!!

I started the last day of 2012 by finishing off an episode of Witness: Libya by HBO. Not a very inspiring start I'd say but it does give me a lot to be grateful about. I'm 25 years old, a graduate student, and am living the way I want. What is there to complain about?

However, we should all strive to better ourselves and in the end, seek to help others. First off my check list, let me thank everything in 2012.

1. Yoga + meditation: Thank you so much to have me find you. By practicing you, I am pulling myself back to the present and am able to grasp the endlessness of my potential.

2. Photography: You found me again! Learning you from scratch allowed me to appreciate the now.

3. Family: There's nothing like family and with only the thought of their existence makes me smile.

4. Friends: Being out alone in a foreign country isn't easy and having you guys around always keeps me going. Sorry for my perverseness as it is a part of me now. Thank you for being there, the land where I can grow.

5. School: Wow, 2012 has not been good for me if I was to complain, too much to bitch about. As cliche as it might sound what doesn't kill you makes you stronger right? Therefore, I am stronger.

6. Aikido: Knocking sense into me and building my body always helps! ;p

7. Writing: You are my therapy. Thank you! :)

8.Books: I almost forgot about you! This is where I go to escape, and no better place!

9: Cooking and eating: Not much to say about those. Self-explanatory

With No.9, there goes my gratitude list of 2012. Not much, but they are my world right now and not coincidentally, they are what I want to improve at this coming year. Hm, looks like I need to make another list but lets leave this entry at that. Let's live life to it's fullest and not look back with regret but with fondness and embrace each new day with a smile! :)
